Patvinsuo National Park Adventures

Patvinsuo National Park is located in the North Karelia region of eastern Finland and covers approximately 105 square kilometers of diverse natural environments. The park is characterized by vast bogs, fens, and large swamp areas, interspersed with old-growth forests dominated by pine, spruce, and birch trees. This rich wetland ecosystem supports a wide variety of wildlife, including rare bird species such as the Siberian jay, black woodpecker, and the elusive capercaillie.
